Information We Collect
ThrowDown Arena, operated by Throw-Down Holdings LLC ("we," "us," "our"), collects information you provide directly to us, including: player name, phone number, email address, Fargo rating, Fargo ID, home venue, and tournament participation and match results.
How We Use Your Information
- To organize and run pool tournaments and leagues you participate in
- To send you SMS text message notifications about your matches (opponent, table, race format, and timing) for tournaments you are actively participating in
- To generate tournament brackets, results, and rating-eligible exports
- To let you claim and manage your own player profile, and to verify your identity when you sign in (see "Player Accounts" below)
Public Player Profiles (CueIQ)
ThrowDown Arena includes a public player lookup called CueIQ (throwdownarena.app/cueiq), searchable by anyone without an account. For every player on file, this page displays: player name, nickname/display name (if set), CueIQ rating, Fargo rating (if provided), home venue, and match-by-match history (opponents, scores, and results) from tournaments run on ThrowDown Arena.
Your phone number and email address are never displayed publicly, on CueIQ or anywhere else on the site -- they are visible only to you (if you've claimed your profile) and to tournament directors.
Player Accounts
A tournament director creates your player profile when you register for an event -- no account is required to play. You may optionally "claim" that profile at any time from its CueIQ page, using either the email or phone number on file, which creates a free player account. Claiming sends a one-time sign-in link to your email or a one-time verification code by SMS to your phone; entering it proves you own that contact info and links the profile to your account.
Once claimed, you can sign back in on any device using the same email or phone, and you can edit your own nickname, email, and phone number directly from your profile page. Your full legal name, Fargo rating, home venue, and any tournament-director notes remain under the tournament director's control and are not player-editable. Player accounts are free.
Mobile Information & SMS Messaging
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of information can be shared with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service.
Text message frequency varies based on your tournament participation and how many matches you play, and may include a one-time verification code if you choose to claim or sign in to your player account by phone. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of SMS notifications at any time by replying STOP, or by contacting us at tony@throwdownlabs.com. Reply HELP for assistance.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share tournament results (name, rating, match outcomes) with FargoRate for the purpose of official rating submission, consistent with standard tournament reporting practices.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your player information at any time by contacting us at tony@throwdownlabs.com. If you've claimed a player account, you can also update your own nickname, email, and phone directly from your profile, or sign out at any time from the same page.
