Terms & Conditions

Acceptance of Terms

By using ThrowDown Arena, operated by Throw-Down Holdings LLC, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Player Accounts

No account is required to be entered into or play in a tournament -- a tournament director creates your player profile for you. You may optionally claim that profile at any time to create a free player account, using the email or phone number a tournament director has on file for you. Claiming (or signing back in later) requires entering a one-time link sent to your email or a one-time code texted to your phone; you're responsible for keeping that email/phone access secure, since it's what proves you own the profile.

Once claimed, you may edit your own nickname, email, and phone number from your profile page. Your full legal name, Fargo rating, home venue, and any tournament-director notes are not player-editable and remain under the tournament director's control. Player accounts are free and will remain free.

Public CueIQ Profiles

Every player on file has a public CueIQ profile page, searchable by anyone without an account, showing your name, nickname (if set), CueIQ rating, Fargo rating (if provided), home venue, and match-by-match tournament history. Your phone number and email address are never shown on this or any public page.

SMS Text Messaging Program

By providing your phone number to a Tournament Director when registering to participate in a tournament run on ThrowDown Arena, you consent to receive automated SMS text messages related to your match status, including opponent name, table assignment, race format, and timing. If you choose to claim or sign in to a player account by phone, you'll also receive a one-time SMS verification code as part of that process.

• Message frequency varies based on tournament participation.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to opt out of SMS notifications.
• Reply HELP for assistance, or contact tony@throwdownlabs.com.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Tournament Participation

Tournament results, including match scores and outcomes, may be submitted to FargoRate for official player rating purposes.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of ThrowDown Arena after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
